It was stated that a total of 180,489 TL administrative fine was given to 3 people, each of whom 60,163 TL, who picked the reverse tulips known as the crying bride among the people and are under protection.

The governorate announced that the penalties were given under the violation of environmental law while the reverse tulips is a unique endemic plant species and under protection in Turkiye, it is strictly forbidden to remove one of them in its natural environment.
