President Erdoğan: Our education must be assertive at a global level
"A national education devoid of global objectives cannot be called truly national," President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Tuesday.
Speaking at a meeting held to lay out Turkiye’s education vision for 2023, President Erdoğan said: "One of the most important factors behind the success of today’s developed countries is the strong education system they have established. A national education devoid of global objectives and qualities cannot be called truly national."
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the Turkiye’s Education Vision for 2023 meeting.
In his speech, President Erdoğan stated that one of the most important factors behind the success of today's developed countries is the strong education system they have established.
"A national education devoid of global objectives and qualities cannot be called truly national. Nations, while passing their own colors on to the education, also express through it whatever they have to tell the world. There is not much possibility to come across examples of societies that are very advanced in education yet backward in the economy or the other way around," he said.
