President Erdoğan warns about FETO schools in Japan
Turkish President Erdoğan has warned about the ongoing activities of FETO-affiliated schools, foundations, and individuals in Japan in a speech he delivered at a meeting with Turkish citizens living in Japan.
"We are proud that Turkish citizens provide added value to the countries they live in," said President Erdoğan addressing Turkish citizens living in Japan.
"We stand ready to lend you every support in order to make sure you live here in Japan as individuals in harmony with the Japanese society, respecting laws and enjoying equal rights. To that end, we cooperate with the Japanese authorities," he added.

Erdoğan described the Turks living abroad as Turkey's strength, ambassadors and representatives outside the country.
"The Republic of Turkey stands with you anytime and anywhere. It has always been a top priority of ours to protect the interests of our citizens and kinsmen living abroad," President Erdoğan stated.

Warning about the ongoing activities of FETO-affiliated schools, foundations, and individuals in Japan, President Erdoğan underlined that FETO is engaged in a high-intensity smear campaign against Turkey abroad.
Drawing attention to the sincere and long-established relations between Turkey and Japan, President Erdoğan said that Turkey plans to open a consulate-general in Nagoya and that the Turkish Airlines will start flights from Osaka to Istanbul as of April in 2020.
