Prices of meat increases by 8 percent, milk 30 percent
In the first three months of 2018, meat prices increased by 8 percent, while milk prices increased by 30 percent compared to the previous year in Turkiye.
Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye, which was in the assessment of inflation in March 0.99'luk, reported food products such as processed meat and milk were the effective increase in high inflation.
According to the assessment, red meat prices increased by 5.12 percent in March, and the cumulative increase in the first three months rose to 8.05 percent. With the increase in milk prices continuing, the annual inflation rate in this product is approaching 30 percent.
Consumer prices rose by 0.99 percent in March in Turkiye, while annual inflation remained near the level of 10.23 percent.
