Reacting to the event, HUDA PAR Malatya Provincial Chairman Orhan Dikgöz characterized the event as a provocation that placing cross marks on the doors and walls of 13 houses in the Cemal Gürsel Neighborhood where the Alevi citizens live intensively. "Obviously the provoker made the work again in order to disrupt the peace of our people in the region," said HUDA PAR official.

"It is the right to life and safety for man. No one has the right to interfere with someone else's right to life. It is worrying and meaningful that the provocateurs in these attempts to disrupt the peace of our people have never been caught. It is our greatest wish that the people who play with the nerves of the people to be caught."
