Retail sales volume increased by 19.2% on annual basis: TurkStat
Retail sales volume with constant prices (2015=100) increased by 19.2% in March 2021 compared with the same month of previous year, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) said in a statement on Tuesday.
In the same month non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 36.9%, automotive fuel sales increased by 12.1%, food, drinks and tobacco sales decreased by 0.8%.
Retail sales volume increased by 5.1% on monthly basis
Retail sales volume with constant prices increased by 5.1% in March 2021 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 1.4%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 7.2%, automotive fuel sales increased by 5.1%.
Retail turnover increased by 38.9% on annual basis
Retail turnover with current prices increased by 38.9% in March 2021 compared with the same month of previous year. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 16.6%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 60.0%, automotive fuel sales increased by 29.6%.
Retail turnover increased by 5.7% on monthly basis
Retail turnover with current prices increased by 5.7% in March 2021 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 2.8%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 8.1%, automotive fuel sales increased by 4.0%.
