Russia records 22,866 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19
22,866 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Russia, bringing the number of cases in the country to 6,447,750.
The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 164,881, an increase of 787 deaths in the last 24 hours.
5,755,507 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.
Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but currently, Russia has the highest number of confirmed cases in Europe, and the fourth-highest in the world after the United States, India, and Brazil.
The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.
Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 4,304,129, with 203,178,712 cases and 182,540,285 recoveries.
