Russia reports 17,648 new coronavirus cases, 437 deaths in the last 24 hours
17,648 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Russia, bringing the number of cases in the country to 3,868,087.
The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 73,619, an increase of 437 deaths in the last 24 hours.
3,318,173 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.
Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but currently, Russia has the second-highest number of confirmed cases in Europe after France, and the fifth-highest in the world after the United States, India, Brazil, and France.
The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.
Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 2,238,513, with 103,557,049 cases and 75,159,671 recoveries.
