Russian plane crashes in Syria kills 32
A Russian cargo plane crashed in Syria, killing 32 people.
A cargo plane of Russia's Antonov-26 type crashed near the Hmeimim air base in Syria. It was reported that there are no survivors from 32 people in the plane.
In a statement made by the Russian Defense Ministry, the plane had 26 passengers and 6 crew members, all of whom were killed in the accident.
It was stated that the aircraft could have crashed due to a technical malfunction. Russian Defense Ministry officials pointed out that the cargo plane crashed when it was landing at Hmeimim Air Base.
