Russia’s coronavirus death toll rises to 62,804
22,934 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Russia, bringing the number of cases in the country to 3,448,203.
The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 62,804, an increase of 531 deaths in the last 24 hours.
2,825,430 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.
Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but it is now the country with the fourth most cases in the world, after the United States, Brazil and India.
The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.
Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 1,955,155, with 91,391,808 cases and 65,409,422 recoveries.
