1 PKK member surrender to security forces in eastern Turkey

1 PKK member, who escaped from the organization, has surrendered to Turkish security forces in Turkey’s eastern Van province, the Provincial Police Department said in a statement on Sunday.

According to the statement, the PKK member surrendered to security forces after persuasion efforts by her family and Turkish security forces.

According to Turkey’s Interior Ministry, at least 30 PKK members have surrendered to security forces since the beginning of 2021.
