Bashir Kiki, the head of the Mosul Provincial Assembly, said that the PKK, holding the public buildings in the town of Sinjar, had given 10 days to leave the town.
Kiki, who expressed that the decision came out after the joint meeting of the Iraqi Central Government and the Mosul Provincial Assembly, expressed that the PKK could not be deployed in Sinjar or exist there, saying "Our attitude is clear. The PKK needs to get out of the city."
The PKK settled in Sinjar in 2014. The civilians, who migrated from the province due to PKK's existence in the town, cannot return to their homes. Due to the PKK, 80 percent of the people of the district have migrated to the city of Duhok.
