11 dead 119 injured in Turkiye's local election

At least 11 people died in Turkiye's local election held on Sunday while 119 people were injured in election-related clashes.

Six people were killed in election-related clashes held on Sunday, March 31 when 5 other people were lost their lives health-related problems in Turkiye's local election.

Five people, including 3 women lost their lives due to a heart attack while they were casting their votes in Mardin's Nusaybin, Gaziantep, Kayseri, and Konya.

In a clash took place in Malatya's Pötürge district, 2 cousins from Saadet Party were killed by a gunman during the voting process while one another person was injured.

Three people were killed in an armed fight between relatives of Mukhtar candidates in Gaziantep's central Şehitkamil district, 6 other people, one of which was serious, injured by gunfire.

In the armed fight between the relatives of the mukhtar candidates in Yozgat's Şefaatli district, one person killed while two other people were injured.

11 people injured in a fight between mukhtar candidates in Samsun's Çarşamba district.

At least 14 people, including 2 in critical condition, were injured in election-related clashes in Diyarbakır's Kocaköy district and 9 other people also injured in clashes in Diyarbakır's Çüngüş district.

The election-related clashes left 24 wounded in Turkiye's southeastern province Şanlıurfa.
