117 bin 677 migrants leave Turkey for Europe, Turkey Interior Minister says

Turkey's Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu gave information about the migrants, who left Turkey for Europe, in a statement on Monday.

"As of 13:50 on Monday, the number of migrants who left Turkey is 117,677," the statement said.

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced on Thursday that Turkey would stop keeping hundreds of thousands of migrants in its territory after an air strike on Idlib in northern Syria killed 33 Turkish soldiers and injured many others.

Reported by UNHCR in 2018, Turkey is hosting 63.4% of all the refugees (from Middle East, Africa, and Afghanistan) in the world. As of 2019, Refugees of the Syrian Civil War in Turkey (3.6 million) are highest "registered" refugees.
