14 people injured in traffic collision in southern Turkey

14 people were injured after two cars collided in the Aydıncık district of Turkey’s southern Mersin province, the governor’s office said.

The road accident took place at around 12:19 on Tuesday on the Mersin-Antalya Highway when a passenger bus collided with a truck.

The injured have been transferred to the Anamur State Hospital, local officials said.

The Mersin-Antalya Highway, where the accident occurred, was closed to two-way traffic and an investigation was launched into the incident.
