14 people lost their lives in Indonesia's earthquake

14 people lost their lives in the 6.4 magnitude earthquake on Indonesia's Lombok Island, and more than 160 people were injured.

An earthquake hit the island of Lombok in Indonesia at a magnitude of 6.4.

According to data from the US Geological Survey Center (USGS), 14 people died and 162 people were injured in the earthquake, which was 50 kilometers north of Mataram City of Lombok Island. It was stated that the depth of the quake was recorded under 7.5 kilometers.

It was stated that some of the injuries were critical and that the number of dead could increase.

On the other hand, the electricity of thousands of houses and some hospitals reportedly was cut in the region while electric poles were damaged. Tent hospitals and medical supplies were shipped to the area.

More than 100 aftershocks, including the largest 5.7, followed by severe tremor.
