2 PKK/YPG members neutralized in northern Syria, Turkey’s Defense Ministry says

2 PKK/YPG members were neutralized in the area of Olive Branch Operation in northern Syria, Turkey’s Defense Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

“2 PKK/YPG members, who attempt to infiltrate the areas of Olive Branch, were neutralized by our commandos,” the statement said.

Operation Olive Branch was a cross-border military operation conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces and the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (TFSA) against PKK/YPG members in the majority-Kurdish Afrin District of northwest Syria.
