22 people lost their lives in Idlib

According to the information provided by the civil defense teams in Syria, Idlib, which is known as conflict reduction a zone, at least 22 people killed as a result of Russian and regime attacks.

At least 22 people, including 8 children and 6 women were killed by Russia and the Syrian regime attacks in the last 24 hours, said the White Helmets, known as Syrian Civil Defense teams, while underlined that the crimes of genocide taking place before the eyes of the world.

"Alarming statistics on the 34th day of the barbaric bombardment by the Russian and Syrian regime on the outskirts of Idlib, Hama, and Aleppo," said the White helmets while provided information that at least 22 civilians were killed on Wednesday 29/5/2019 including eight children and six women.

Most casualties were in Sharjah in southern Idlib after the regime warplanes carried out a terrible massacre killing 7 civilians, including a child and five women, and wounding 10 others. Most of them were displaced from their town Tahtaya in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

"Our teams documented and responded to 39 towns and villages that were shelled today in Idlib, Hama and Aleppo's countrysides. They were targeted by 75 air strikes, 43 explosive barrels by regime’s helicopters and at least 565 shells and missiles were dropped on those towns," said the White Helmets.

Stating that the warning of a humanitarian disaster against the people of northern Syria, Syria Civil Defense holds the international community accountable, especially as the bombing on Wednesday began to affect the towns in further north in the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo. (ILKHA)
