24 Daesh/ISIS-linked suspects detained in Turkey

Turkish police have detained 24 suspected members of the "Islamic State" (Daesh/ISIS) group in two separate operations in Ankara, the capital of Turkey.

Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office released arrest warrants for 26 suspects earlier Saturday.

24 suspects, including 4 Turkish nationals, 18 Iraqi nationals and 2 Iraqi nationals, were detained in two separate operations that were launched by the Ankara Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Units.

It was stated that efforts were underway to apprehend two suspects.
