3 miners killed in Zonguldak's mine collapse

Search and rescue teams found the 3 bodies of workers trapped under the rubber after an explosion took place early Tuesday in the mine in Zonguldak.

An explosion reportedly took place likely caused by methane gas in an unlicensed coal mine in Çamlık Neighborhood on Mountain Street of Zonguldak's Kilimli district.

The 2 workers, who were wounded during the explosion, were rescued by their colleagues and taken out of the mine.

Five workers involved in rescue works reportedly hospitalized after they inhaled the explosive gas underground.
