33,000 people fired through delegated legislation in Turkey

33,000 people were expelled by decree, Minister of the Interior Süleyman Soylu said Monday.

Speaking at the workshop on the evaluation of human resources needed for the transformation of the security administration held in Ankara, Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said that 33,000 people have been expelled by Decree-Law so far.

"Number of people dismissed from Police Department after December 17-25 and July 15 through the delegated legislation is about 33,000," Soylu said.
