5 civilians killed, 12 wounded in a car-bomb explosion in northern Syria

Local sources have reported hearing a loud explosion in the Turkish-controlled town of Ras Al-Ain in northern Syria.

The explosion, which was caused by the detonation of a booby-trapped car in the town’s market place on the Municipality Boulevard, killed 5 civilians and wounded 12 others, according to local reports.

The wounded has been taken to hospital.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
