5 injured in road accident in southeastern Turkey

Five people were injured after a car collided with another car in Turkey’s southern Diyarbakır province on Thursday.

The accident took place on the Diyarbakır-Siverek highway, approximately 40 kilometers from Diyarbakır city center, the local sources said.

Ambulances, police and fire crews were dispatched to the scene after the accident had been reported to the officials.

The survivors have been taken to hospitals in Diyarbakır.

The road, which was blocked due to the collusion, has been reopened after vehicles involved in the crash were pulled over.
