Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte announced about 150 thousand people were arrested in the fight against drug traffickers while nearly 5 thousand of them were killed.
Announcing in a press conference, Duterte said the country was assessed, 5,000 drug dealers were killed and the operations have not ended while they will continue to work harder.
Duterte expressed that he cannot make any sense for the reactions of human rights organizations against operations, said, "Your concern is human rights, mine is the life of people."
According to police records, during the operations carried out under the fight against drugs in the Philippines, 4 thousand 350 people were killed in the last two years, and about 150 thousand people were arrested.
Rodrigo Duterte, who was elected president in 2016, had given the "force command" to the security forces in the fight against drugs.
