9 people killed in clashes between two families in northeastern Syrian

Nine people were killed and three others injured in fierce clashes between two families in regime-held areas in the southern al-Qamishli countryside.

According to local sources, a violent armed fight broke out in the Syrian regime-controlled village of Al-Dallawiya in the southern countryside of al-Qamishli, between two families due to a dispute over agricultural land in the village.

The armed fight left five members of the first family dead, while four people were killed of the other family members, including two women, amid growing tension in the area.
