A 3.5 magnitude earthquake jolts northwestern Turkey

A 3.5 magnitude earthquake has shaken the Dursunbey district of Turkey’s northwestern Balikesir province, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency said on Wednesday.

The earthquake took place at around 07:48 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 39.6415 degrees north and a longitude of 28.5151 degrees east, and at a depth of 7.10 km.
