A 3.9 magnitude earthquake jolts eastern Turkey

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake has shaken the Hizan district of Turkey’s eastern Bitlis province, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on Sunday.

The earthquake took placed at around 12:20 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.2473 degrees north and a longitude of 42.5268 degrees east, and at a depth of 18.79 km.
