A 4.0-magnitude earthquake jolts eastern Turkey

A 4.0-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Doğubayazıt district of Turkey’s eastern Ağrı province on Friday, Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.

The earthquake took placed at around 08:57 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 39.7195 degrees north and a longitude of 43.6686 degrees east, and at a depth of 7.02 km.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damages to buildings.
