A 4.1 magnitude earthquake jolts eastern Turkey

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake has shaken the Karlıova district of Turkey’s eastern Bingöl province, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on Sunday.

The earthquake took placed at around 12:22 p.m., with its epicenter at a latitude of 39.3793 degrees north and a longitude of 40.7516 degrees east, and at a depth of 9,15 km.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damages to buildings.
