A 4.2 magnitude earthquake jolts western Turkey

The 4.2 magnitude quake hit the Aegean Sea off the coast of the Seferihisar district in Izmir province on Wednesday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.

The earthquake occurred at around 14:18 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.0826 degrees north and a longitude of 27.0090 degrees east, and at a depth of 13.01 km.
