A 4.2 magnitude earthquake reported 19 km southeast of Iraklion, Greece

A magnitude 4.2 quake struck Greece near Iraklion, Heraklion, Crete, the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) reported.

The earthquake occurred late at night on Friday at 10:46 pm local time at a shallow depth of 14.1 km.

There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage from the earthquake.
