A 4.4 magnitude earthquake occurs in Mediterranean Sea

The offshore quake took place in the Mediterranean Sea off southwestern Turkish shores at 16:16 on Friday, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 75 kilometers away from the Marmaris district of Turkey's Mugla province at a depth of 37 kilometers.
