A 4.6 magnitude earthquake jolts eastern Turkey

A 4.6 magnitude earthquake has hit the Pütürge district of Turkey’s eastern Malatya province, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on Tuesday.

The earthquake occurred at around 13:44 p.m., with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.1920 degrees north and a longitude of 38.6708 degrees east, and at a depth of 15,09 km.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damages to buildings.
