A 4.7 magnitude earthquake hits eastern Turkey

A 4.6 magnitude earthquake has hit the Korkut district of Turkey’s eastern Muş province, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on Wednesday.

The earthquake occurred at around 17:48 p.m., with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.7355 degrees north and a longitude of 42.0051 degrees east, and at a depth of 16,24 km.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damages to buildings.
