The 4.7 quake struck the Pütürge of Turkey’s eastern Malatya province on Sunday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.
The earthquake occurred at around 12:19 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.2458 degrees north and a longitude of 38.7913 degrees east, and at a depth of 6.93 km.
The earthquake was felt in the nearby provinces, including Diyarbakır, Malatya, Adıyaman, Tunceli, and Bingöl, the local sources said.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
