A 5.5 magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia

No tsunami warning has been issued after the earthquake.

The quake struck at 6:25 p.m. local time, with the epicenter located 165 kilometers southeast of Wakatobi, North Sulawesi province in Indonesia, the country’s the meteorological agency announced on Monday.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the earthquake.
