A 6.3 magnitude earthquake hits Croatia

A 6.3-magnitude quake struck 44 km of southeast of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) announced.

The earthquake occurred at 11:19 local time, with its epicenter at a latitude of 45.47 degrees north and a longitude of 16.20 degrees east, and at a depth of 5 km.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the earthquake.
