Police carried out an operation on a vehicle upon the notice in Mardin. Following the search in the vehicle, about 250 kilograms of explosives were seized.
5 people in the vehicle were taken into custody.

On the other hand, the Governorate of Mardin made a written statement about the seizure of approximately 250 kilos of explosive-loaded vehicles.
"As a result of the operation carried out on October 31, 2018, at 19.30 hours on Ceylanpınar-Kızıltepe Highway, against a 72.... plate vehicle, 247,864 grams of PETN explosive seized together with the apparatus," said the Governorate.
At least 3 suspects were taken into custody the Governorate said. In the pre-interview with the mentioned persons, 2 more people, who were helping them, were taken into custody.
