Millions of children face the danger of death in the civil war in Yemen, while the United Nations [UN] called for "ending the civil war", noting that every ten minutes a child under five lost their lives due to conflict and hunger.
"The world's biggest humanitarian crisis is in Yemen," said UN Secretary-General Guterres, while 22 million people, three-quarters of the total population, need humanitarian assistance and protection as they enter the fourth year of conflict in Yemen.
Guterres pointed out that 18 million people have food insecurity in the war that entered its 4th year and stressed that 8.4 million of these people live without knowing where the next meal will come from.
Guterres said millions of people could not reach clean water in Yemen and that last year a million people are suffering from diseases such as cholera and diarrhea.
It is almost impossible to reach medical services in the country due to the war.
