A new coronavirus case reported in Kurdistan

The Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Region reported a new infection in Erbil, bringing the number of confirmed cases to 388 in the region.

According to the Ministry, the infected man is 32-year-old, who lives in Sibiran residential complex in Erbil.

Kurdistan Region has so far reported 388 confirmed coronavirus cases, including 5 deaths, while 343 patients who have been recovered.

The first case of COVID-19 infection in Iraqi Kurdistan was confirmed on the 1 March.

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is continue to implement the measures taken to contain the spread of coronavirus, including to extend total curfew across the region from 01 May until 10 May.
