A striped hyena, which was hit by a car in Demirbilek [Meymuniye] village of Turkiye's Batman, was reportedly killed.
According to the information, a striped hyena was hit and killed by a car on Batman-Hasankeyf highway near the village of Demirbilek.
It was mentioned that the striped hyena is under protection and is a wild animal that is endangered. With the last striped hyena, totally 3 hyenas were killed so far by cars in the same region at different times.
