Afghan asylum seekers to be deported

Some 591 asylum seekers from Afghanistan will be deported from Erzurum to Kabul by "Charter" flights.

It is reported that some 591 immigrants of Afghanistan whose deportation procedures have completed in Erzurum Aşkale Repatriation Center will be deported from Erzurum to Kabul by arranged "charter" flights.

The statement made by the Ministry of the Interior noted that:

"In recent years, irregular immigrants from Afghanistan, who have intensively entered our country through Iran, have been sent to refugee centers in the surrounding areas and their deportation procedures have begun. In this context, some 591 of the Afghan nationality immigrants whose expulsion procedures have completed at the Aşkale Repatriation Center will be deported with charter flights."
