The identity of the female delegate who was to appear on behalf of the Taliban was not specified, but it was noted that she has no normal kinship with the Taliban officials.
According to the statement, the female delegate will only participate in talks with Afghan NGOs and political representatives, but will not be involved in talks with US officials.
