AK Party to expel Ahmet Davutoğlu and 3 other names

AK Party is set to expel former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and three other former lawmakers, Ayhan Sefer Üstün, Selçuk Özdağ, and Abdullah Başçı.

The decision came after a nearly five-hour meeting on Monday of the central executive committee of the AK Party chaired by President Erdoğan.

AK Party Central Executive Committee meeting asked for a final expulsion for former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and AK Party deputies Selcuk Özdağ, Ayhan Sefer Üstün, and Abdullah Başçı prudently from the party to be referred to the Central Disciplinary Board.
