An 86-year- old woman recovered from coronavirus in southeastern Turkey

86-year-old Guli Kılınç, who tested positive for coronavirus along side her two sons, has recovered and been discharged from hospital in the Kızıltepe district of Turkey’s southeastern Mardin province.

Guli Kılınç, who has been treated at Silkroad Private Hospital for 7 days, will be under a quarantine for 14 days, as will her two sons.

Guli Kılınc, who said she was very happy to return home, thanked the health workers, especially the management of the hospital.

The Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases increased to 38,226 and that the death toll reached 812 in Turkey.

246 more patients have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospital in the country.
