Armed fight between two groups in Şanlıurfa: 2 dead

At least two people were killed and four other people were wounded in an armed fight in Turkiye's Şanlıurfa.

Two people were killed and 4 people were wounded in an armed fight that was estimated to erupted due to children in the town of Eyyübiye, Şanlıurfa. Tension continues in the city.

The incident took place Osmanlı neighborhood in Eyyubiye, district of Şanlıurfa. According to the information, the discussion between two people turned into a fight over children.

The Syrian family and the members of the Turkiye nationality Daş family fought with the stone, sticks, knives, axes, rifles. Muslum, Mesut, Mahmut, Murat and Mehmet Dag and an unnamed Syrian were reportedly injured in the fight.

After the fight turned armed fight, a large number of police and ambulances were transferred to the scene upon the notice of people.

The wounded were rushed to the Mehmet Akif Inan Training and Research Hospital while Mahmut and Müslüm Dağ lost their lives due to severe wounds despite all interventions in the hospital.

After the fight, police took security precaution where the incident took place and in front of the hospital. A large-scale investigation was launched.

On the other hand, after two people lost their lives around 21.00, a mob approximately consists of 150 people attacked Syrian's shops in the city. Tension continues in the city.
