“I will resign very soon, in April — not to leave power, but early parliamentary elections to take place. Until they happen, I will remain a caretaker prime minister," Pashinyan said.
Pashinyan confronted street protests after he signed a ceasefire deal with Azerbaijan to end the fighting over Nagorno Karabakh which started in late September.
Protesters demanded his resignation calling him “a traitor” and the deal “a betrayal”.
