Attacks on mosques continue in Germany

The attacks on mosques and Turkish-owned shops continue in Germany.

Attacks with Molotov bombs and stone on mosques and on Turkish-owned shops continue since the weekend in various cities of Germany.

In the city of Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, slogans linked to Afrin were written on the wall of the Eyup Sultan Mosque operated under the Religious Affairs Turkish Islamic Union (DITİB).

The police spokesman explained that the investigation was launched because of the political dimension of the attack.

On the wall of the mosques, "Everywhere Afrin" (Afrin ist überall ) and "YPG" were written.

In the capital Berlin, a restaurant was attacked with stones. The glass of the restaurant was broken, no injuries were reported.

Also, attempt to attack carried out on newsstand shop and on a selling cell phone shop run by Turkish citizens down in the town of Saxony Hanover Garbsen. According to the information given by the police authorities, the attacks carried out by Molotov bombs.

In the city of Celle in the Lower Saxony state, it was reported that an unidentified person stoned to the building of a Christian Army Corps (CDU) party and a counseling center for the German army. Police officials announced Tuesday that in the event of sabotage, "fight for Afrin" (fight4Afrin) was written in English on the wall of the building.
