British politicians, including members of the British House of Lords, Maurice Glasman with parliament member Lloyd Russell-Moyle visited Qamishli region, north of Syria.
"We’re here for a long-term relationship with you, where we can support you against all the people who are trying to destroy your liberty," said Glasman in the meeting with PKK/PYD in Qamishli. "We also bring, with a full heart, our solidarity," he said by adding that their visits to PKK/PYD will continue regularly.
The Labor Party deputy Russell-Moyle said he hoped that more careful examination of the weapons sales to Turkiye, "We want to say we are with you," he added.
According to Reuters reports, the British had already had undeclared negotiations, but for the first time, an official meeting was held. The British delegation went to Kobani after Qamisli.
