Bus carrying refugees crashes in Aksaray: 39 injured

At least 39 people injured in the accident that resulted in the overturn of a bus carrying refugees from Istanbul to Syria border to be deported.

At least 39 people injured, including police officers after overturning the bus in Aksaray, where Syrian refugees were taken from Istanbul to the Syrian border.  

The accident took place in the 46th kilometer of the Aksaray-Ankara highway. According to the information, 34 RHK 91 plate bus carrying refugees from Istanbul to Syria border to be deported was overturned near the Altın village near Aksaray province.

At least 39 people, including 17 policemen and 22 foreign nationals, were wounded in the accident. The wounded people reportedly were taken to hospitals.

It was learned that 2 police officers and a refugee were severely wounded in the crash.
